On May 14 at 5:00 p.m., the Intercultural Food Symposium will take place at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
This activity is part of a URV teaching innovation project linked to the first-year course Foods of the Bachelor's Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, organized by the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology in collaboration with faculty members from the FMCS.
During the event, students will present some of the best projects developed throughout the course on foods from around the world, explored from nutritional, technological, and sociocultural perspectives. The aim is to promote a more intercultural understanding of food and to create a space for dissemination, discussion, and reflection on food diversity.
The event is open to students of the course and the degree programme, as well as to the general public interested in food and interculturality.
