DESCRIPTION:The Iubilo URV Scientific Roundtable will focus this session on
  the uniqueness and trajectory of the wines from the DOQ Priorat\, a regio
 n that has undergone an exemplary transformation to become one of the worl
 d&#39\;s leading wine regions. Professor Fernando Zamora\, from the URV Fa
 culty of Enology\, will provide an overview of the historical evolution of
  these wines\, the late 20th-century revival led by pioneering winemakers\
 , and the natural factors that shape their identity.\n\nKey elements to be
  discussed include the llicorella soils\, the climate of contrasts\, and t
 he presence of old vineyards on steep slopes\, all of which contribute to 
 the concentration\, aromatic complexity\, and character that have establis
 hed Priorat as a premier oenological and cultural heritage.
